Florence and the Machine, "Ceremonials" Album is Fashionable Music

Dude, I know that I rave about Florence and the Machine all the time but I have been listening to their newest album NON STOP and have you checked out her gorgeous cover of the January 2012 issue of Vogue UK? I am girl crushing hard!

Just like their first, the “Ceremonials” album does not disappoint. Not only does Flo tickle my fashion fancy but her music is something that I could listen to all day long. I am totally digging this tune (video below for your viewing pleasure) because it is passionate and the anti-pop, which frankly, I grow tired of.

What do you think of Florence and the Machine? Are you a fan yet?

Obsession Alert: Florence Welch and her Fashion Machine

Not only am I super excited about the new Florence and the Machine album (as it is overdue in my eyes) but I have been keeping my eyes on Florence Welch’s fashion forward yet vintage channeling style since she hit the scene. Not only can she pull off gorgeous gowns but in her every day attire, she totally brings a funkier feel to more vintage silhouettes. Plus, that red hair. Gorgeous. I am totally obsessing over Flo lately.

Obvi Lady Gaga gets attention for her outrageous outfits, Katy Perry brings up the rear with a different kind of fantastical outfitting and now Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine fame) is being dressed in Gucci (which I would pay to see but unfortunately was sold out in my area)… this makes me feel not so silly for liking to step out of the box sometimes. By no means am I wearing a hat made out of human hair (seeing as I already have human hair on my head) buuuuuuuuuut these ladies are breaking the mold and making it accepted if not OK to be a little weird. I like being weird. Weird is better than boring, am I right?
