With father Paul McCartney creating and composing an original score for the new ballet “Ocean’s Kingdom” it’s no wonder that designer Stella McCartney would create and compose the costuming for the very same ballet. I haven’t been to the ballet since my mother took us to see the Nutcracker and I forgot to bring my glasses and thusly could not see a thing. This experience, understandably, left me with a pretty “blah” feeling in regards to the ballet… but designer duds and pop roots? I could probably be convinced to take in a show.
What do you think? Are you sold on marriage of McCartney’s music to McCartney’s designs?
